U2BeBetter

Tapestry
Cotton; 250×250 cm
Edition: 1.

The tapestry embodies the U2BeBetter Planet from the Yoomoota art universe — a galactic sanctuary of endangered species of children's toys wandering through a desolate landscape as a symbol of lost childhood. The planet's name is a phrase heard so often, reflecting nostalgia for an elusive past. The work explores the fragility of memory and the endless desire to reclaim what can only be grasped in imagination.
