Fast Money

Sculpture
Plastic, paper (banknotes), acrylic; 20 cm
Edition: 25.

The sculpture Fast Money explores the nature of money and our relationship to it. Created from genuine banknotes from more than 20 countries, it reveals the endless flow of capital — a stream that exists in both the material and virtual worlds. Like atoms, money is the foundation of modern society, yet due to its elusiveness we often experience frustration and a sense of loss. It slips through our fingers, and the joy of possession gives way to new challenges.
