PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Two installations paintings featuring highly stylized images of a girl and a boy will be covered in large sugar crystals with bitten parts, as if someone had gnawed on them. Sweet Girl and Sweet Boy represent individuals influenced by the Candy Lady. Some fast food companies conducted social experiments and gave children their high-sugar products, addicting them to fast food. The bitten sugar crystals symbolize how people consume their own future by indulging in the immediate gratification of sugary foods.
